Plans to transform King William House with restaurants and flats in Hull city centre

A 1970s office block in Hull's Old Town could be heading for a major facelift. King William House in Market Place is best known for its glazed window panels which reflect views of Holy Trinity Church. Built it in 1975, it also includes an Argos store.

Four large ground-floor units for possible leisure use form part of a new marketing brochure. A planning application seeking permission to change the use of offices on the upper floors to 30 one and two-bed flats has also recently been submitted to Hull City Council.

It's expected a planning application covering the proposed ground-floor leisure use units will be submitted to the council later this year.
